Solomon Kimani
Program Coordinator (Running Program)
Solomon is our head running coach & the heart of our program, having conceived the first marathon together with us. He is the local race director for the Amazing Maasai Marathon and spearheads the Amazing Maasai Running Club which has over 300 girls in it.
He also is part of the Scholarship Program, helping out with issues and leading the student selection committee.

Jackie Nana Merinyi
Girls’ Matron
Jackie has been involved in the AMGP since our very earliest days. As Matron, she is not only an essential figure in keeping the scholarship administration running smoothly, but a key figure in our students’ school careers. For any issues affecting these young women, Jackie is there as a counsellor and extra connection between child, home and school, helping ensure our Amazing Girls can thrive. -
Francis Merinyi
Advisor (Scholarship Program)
Francis was part of the founding team and has been with us as a mentor and friend since the beginning. As an Elder in the community now, Francis is heavily involved in local education and is a board member at St Francis School, where we send our students/ Francis plays an important role as an advocate for Girls’ Education in his community and supports throughout the year, especially during the scholarship selection process.

Agnes Moisany
Volunteer & Advisor
Agnes has served as the volunteer for the girls for the past several years and there is no doubt the girls appreciate her support. As the headmistress of a local primary school and passionate advocate for Girl’s Education, we are lucky to have Agnes as part of the team.

Molly Fitzpatrick

Molly cares most about two things: access to education and running, because both provide freedom. Thru the Project, she has been able to combine these loves to help burgeoning young women in Kenya rewrite their futures.

Once a girl learns the value of her voice and knows her true potential, her world changes. She will never be the same again. This is what drives Sarah’s commitment to the Project. All young women deserve to pursue their dreams, knowing just how Amazing they truly are.

Paul joined forces with the Project as the official race photographer and has been with us ever since. A talented fundraiser and deeply passionate about education, Paul is chief cheerleader for the girls.

Tom Mason
Board Member
Tom joined the Amazing Maasai Marathon years ago and was so touched by the initiative to educate girls, he jumped in as Team Captain for the Global Run. Every year, he and his Team Dallas blow everyone away with their miles and dollars for these Amazing Girls. We couldn’t do it without Tom!

Marita Moisany
Board Member
Marita is one of the first Amazing Girls recipients and is a shining example of what someone can do with a little help in their education. After high school graduation, she found the means to attend nursing school and now is a RN. Marita is a mentor for Amazing Girls to come.

Paul Lebeneyio
Board Member
Paul was with us on the Amazing Race in China and has been a community advocate and friend of the race and charity for many years. He is our sounding board and voice of the community.

Randy Pilkenton
Board Member
Randy is a talented fundraiser and friend to non-profits, serving on the board of several of them. He brings new ideas and life to the on-going evolution of the Project.
