Amazing Maasai Marathon

Supporting Girls’ Education in Kenya, one race at a time.

In 2011, the Amazing Maasai Ultra marathon kicked off its inaugural event with about 100 local Maasai and 18 runners from abroad, mostly our friends we begged to come (thanks, pals!) In this first year, our runners and friends helped to raise over +$19,000 for girls scholarships. Way to go! With that, twenty new Amazing Girls were awarded full four year scholaships to secondary school.

Since then, a marathon, half marathon and 10KM race, was held annually as our key fundraising event - until the Covid-19 pandemic stopped us in our tracks.
